Double-click the NVJ icon in your /Applications folder - there's no need to open an X11 or Terminal environment. (OK, so we're mixing the UNIX "/" path terminology with Mac's simpler naming structure. Ultimately, you'll be working with both, so don't freak out. The UNIX pathname scheme is very handy for describing absolute locations.)
Some introductory information covering your NMRView version should appear in a new panel that will quickly go away
The main toolbar should appear in the upper left corner of your screen. (Figure 3.1, “NMRView Main Toolbar”)
The TkCon window should appear in the lower left of your screen. (Figure 3.2, “NMRView SwkCon Console”)
